Environmental modeling of environmental projects as an instrument to help decision making
Abstract
This article presents a model to determine the values of the environmental impacts identified in a mining project based on the value of the Global Environmental Effect desired for it, with the purpose of knowing the behavior of the environmental impacts and effects. To do this, the most appropriate one must be chosen among all the possible alternatives generated and that corresponds to the criteria that the experts take into account for their selection. The decision of which alternative to select is made by applying the Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP) in its fuzzy modification. The Punta Gorda Site, Moa, is taken as a case study.
