Automation and control of a greenhouse
Abstract
Automation in greenhouses is very useful today, since it provides important benefits for the farmer, improving the productivity of different crops, ensuring quality and protecting plants from pests and diseases. Through the automation developed in the greenhouse it has been possible to control the climatological variables of temperature and humidity within the appropriate ranges and this has allowed good development of the seeds. For automation, it was necessary to incorporate humidity and temperature sensors with a PLC connected to the network, which allowed the different control and monitoring actions to be carried out.
